May 14, 2018 Memorial Field Utility Easement The City of Port Townsend is upgrading the sidewalks in the Downtown Historic District. A part of this project involves removing overhead utility lines and relocating them underground. Jefferson County PUD is requesting a utility easement along the front of Memorial Field bordering Washington St. Analysis / Strategic Goals / Pros Et Cons: Placing utilities underground will enhance the downtown area including Memorial Field. The PUD will upgrade the service feed to the Memorial Field panel and replace approximately 20 feet of fencing to accommodate the work. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: There is no revenue or expense associated with this action. Recommendation: Please sign the attached utility easement and return it to Public Works for recording and distribution.
