Community Development DATE: June 11,2018 SUBJECT: Deliberations on Proposed Comprehensive Plan Periodic Review & UDC Amendments STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Board of County Commissioners held a Public Hearing on Monday,June 4,2018,regarding Jefferson County Planning Commission's proposed amendments to the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan and amendments to the Unified Development Code(UDC), and staff recommended revisions and changes. The Board established a public comment period commencing May 23,2018,and ending June 8,2018 at 4:30 p.m. Department of Community Development(DCD)will lead a discussion with the Board to cover 1)the initial impressions of review comments on the proposed documents, and 2)preparation for a June 14 work session. ANALYSIS: Input from the Board's discussion will assist DCD with preparation of materials for the June 14, 2018 work session. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact related to this agenda request.
