SECTION I. PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The purpose of this ordinance is to establish a Small Quantity Generator fee schedule for the
Solid Waste Division of the Jefferson County Department of Pubic Works. This schedule shall
apply to all Moderate Risk Waste for small quantity waste generators fees required by the Solid
Waste Division.
SECTION II. FEE SCHEDULE:
Moderate Risk Waste Facility located at 282, 10th ST., Port Townsend, W A. 98368 for small
quantity generator rates:

Minimum charge is for labor and miscellaneous materials fees ($12.02 for one-half hour) plus
disposal fees.
**Bilge water not accepted at this time, however, it may be accepted at a later date.
All non-listed waste will be charged the *** disposal fees plus materials and processing time at
$24.03 per hour.
***Disposal fees include hazard waste contractor labor and materials and final site disposal costs.

No fee will be charged for Household Hazardous Waste.
SECTION IV. HOURS OF OPERATION:
The Moderate Risk Waste Facility hours of operation shall be set by the Director of Public Works
with approval by the Board of County Commissioners.
SECTION V. SEVERABILITY:
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or figure of this ordinance or its application to
any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the ordinance or the application to
other persons or circumstances shall not be affected.
EFFECTIVE DATE:
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after adoption by the Board of County
Commissioners.
