SPECIAL MEETING
DECEMBER 30, 1996
On Monday morning the Deputy Clerk of the Board was in contact, by
phone, with the Board regarding the following business:
Declaration of Emergency: Weather Conditions and Flooding: After
reports from Public Works Director Klara Fabry and the Emergency Services Coordina-
tor, Commissioner Hinton moved to approve RESOLUTION NO. 122-96 declaring an
emergency due to unusual weather conditions consisting of snow and heavy rain Sunday
December 29,1996 which created extensive road impairment and caused flooding in the
County. Chairman Wojt seconded the motion which carried.
Emergency County Courthouse Closure; Monday, December 30,1996:
Commissioner Hinton moved to close the County Courthouse on Monday, December 30
for the safety and welfare of the employees and the public. Chairman Wojt seconded the
motion. The motion carried.
