addition to our community and a dangerous precedent to set.
The original ordinance, Title 18, should prevail over Title 8.
We are concerned about safety, environmental degradation and the intrusion to our community.
This is not forward progress with consideration for a community’s right to live in peace; it is a large-scale
industrial operation that will profit only the business owners. Please consider the rights of the many over
the profit of a few.
Helicopters? Military exercises? Sleep-over shooter camp? They’re terribly out of place. I don’t want to
open my windows to the sound of rapid-fire guns. Nor do I want Jefferson County to become a go-to
destination for this sort of activity.
