IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTING AN ASSOCIATE }
DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION(ADO)MEMBER TO } RESOLUTION NO. 01 19
THE PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE FUND(PIF)BOARD }
WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 3.28.090 of the Jefferson County Code(JCC),the Jefferson
County Board of Commissioners shall signify final approval and appointment of the members of the Public
Infrastructure Fund(PIF)Board by resolution,which shall consist of no more than eight(8)members;and
WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 3.28.090(b)JCC,the ADO serving the county shall recommend a
designee to serve on the PIF Board as their representative;and
WHEREAS, EDC Team Jefferson,the ADO serving the county,has recommended Brian Kuh to
be their representative and Bill Lowry as their alternate representative;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners,that
Brian Kuh is hereby appointed as EDC Team Jefferson's representative and Bill Lowry as alternate
representative to the PIF Board for a four-year term beginning on the date this resolution is approved.

SUBJECT: RESOLUTION re: Appointing a representative of Jefferson County's
Associate Development Organization (ADO) to the Public Infrastructure Fund
(PIF) Board
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Recently approved Ordinance No 13-1119-18 increased the number of PIF Board members from seven to
eight by adding a representative from the ADO serving Jefferson County. EDC Team Jefferson is the
county's ADO. They have recommended that the Board of County Commissioners appoint Brian Kuh to be
their representative. They have also recommended Bill Lowry as their alternate representative.
ANALYSIS:
Section 3.28.090(e) of the Jefferson County code gives the Board of County Commissioners the final
authority to approve and appoint members of the PIF Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the resolution appointing Brian Kuh as the ADO representative and Bill Lowry as the alternate
ADO representative to the PIF Board.
