Statement of Issue:
Advisory Board Re-appointment to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC): Two
year term to Expire • "- -"" " Agricultural Representative; Glenn Gately
\January 2, 2021.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's and Con's:
Letter of interest in reappointment was received from Mr. Gately. The candidacy was
presented at the January 24, 2019 SWAC and has received support by Members
committee.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis:
A local SWAC is mandated by RCW 70.95.165(3). Costs associated with SWAC
activities are identified in the 2019 Solid Waste Budget.
Recommendation:
Approve New Appointment as detailed in Statement of Issue (above).
