GENERAL NOTES:
ALL LOW IMPACT DEVELOPMENT (L.I.D.) WORK SHALL CONFORM TO JANUARY 2005
LOW IMPACT DEVELOPMENT TECHNICAL GUIDANCE MANUAL FOR PUGET SOUND.
IF NOT SPECIFIED ON THE PLAN SHEETS. ALL OTHER WORK SHALL CONFORM TO
THE LATEST EDITION OF "STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR ROAD, BRIDGE AND
MUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION" ISSUED BY WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AND AMERICAN PUBLIC WORKS ASSOCIATION WASHINGTON
STATE CHAPTER, WHICH HEREINAFTER SHALL BE REFERRED TO AS "STANDARD
SPECIFICATIONS."
2. THE PROJECT ENGINEER MUST INSPECT ALL WORK FOR APPROVAL, INCLUDING
ALL LID TECHNIQUES (i.e. POROUS PAVEMENTS, RAINGARDENS, POROUS PAVERS,
ETC.)
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING ALL EXISTING
UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. CALL UNDERGROUND LOCATE SERVICE, 1-800-424-5555
FOR UTILITY MARKING.
4. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO OBTAIN ALL
REQUIRED PERMITS PRIOR TO ANY CONSTRUCTION.
5. ALL GROUND COVER IS TO REMAIN UNDISTURBED OUTSIDE OF CLEARING AREAS.
6. THE TEMPORARY EROSION/SEDIMENT CONTROLS SHALL BE INSTALLED,
INSPECTED, AND OPERATING BEFORE ANY GRADING OR EXTENSIVE LAND
CLEARING. THESE CONTROLS MUST BE SATISFACTORILY MAINTAINED UNTIL
CONSTRUCTION AND LANDSCAPING ARE COMPLETE.
7. DISPERSE THE RUN-OFF FROM IMPERVIOUS SURFACES (ROOF, STREETS,
DRIVEWAYS, ETC.) TO THE COMPLETED L.I.D. DRAINAGE AREAS AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE.
8. A PRE -CONSTRUCTION MEETING WITH THE OWNER, ENGINEER AND COUNTY
STAFF SHALL TAKE PLACE BEFORE START OF CONSTRUCTION.
9. OWNER SHALL PROVIDE A FINAL BOUNDARY SURVEY OF ALL RESIDENTIAL LOTS
UPON COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES.
10. A COPY OF APPROVED PLANS SHALL BE ON SITE AT ALL TIMES WHILE
CONSTRUCTION IS IN PROGRESS.
11. WORK WITHIN THE COUNTY ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAYS REQUIRES A PERMIT FROM
JEFFERSON COUNTY.
