Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
Special Meeting — Tuesday, March 5, 2019, 12:00 p.m.
Jefferson County Courthouse — Commissioners' Chambers
1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Kate Dean called the meeting to order in the presence of
Commissioner David Sullivan and Commissioner Greg Brotherton. Also present were Clerk Ruth
Gordon, Auditor Rose Ann Carroll, Sheriff Joe Nole, Assessor Jeff Chapman and Treasurer Stacie
Prada.
DISCUSSION with County Elected Officials and Department Directors re:
County/State Relations and Possible Legislation: The Commissioners met with Elected Officials to
discuss a variety of County/State relations and possible legislation that could affect Jefferson County.
Chair Dean excused herself from the meeting at 12:37 p.m.
NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Brotherton moved to adjourn the
meeting at 1:05 p.m. until the next regular meeting or special meeting as properly noticed.
Commissioner Sullivan seconded the motion. The motion carried.
