The appeal was opened for discussion at 1:43 p.m.
The Appeal Board and Service Officers discussed Daniel Murphy's June 27, 2012 application that was
denied financial funding. Mr. Lane stated Mr. Murphy was denied funding because previous food
vouchers were not used properly, nor were they used for the intended purpose. Specifically, a voucher was
not signed, another contained a forged signature and one was used to purchase alcohol which is prohibited.
The Appeal Board concurred uphold the Service Officers Association's decision to deny Mr. Murphy's
funding application dated June 27, 2012. Secretary Randall was directed to send a letter to Mr. Murphy
notifying him of the Board's decision and explaining that he may apply for financial funding after
September 1, 2012, however, failure to adhere to the rules in the future will constitute an infraction that may
be forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for possible prosecution.
The appeal was adjourned at 2:09 p.m.
