Estimated volume of concrete:2.73 cubic yards. Wet concrete will be kept out of the marine environment by us-
ing fast curing additives which will result in a 4 hour cure time; and pouring on an outgoing tide, on a day in which
the tide will reach at least a 0.5 low. The pour will begin when the tide reaches 3 feet, which will leave approxi-
mately 6 hours before it reaches 3 feet again. This plan will allow for a safety margin of approximately 7 vertical
feet, and 60 linear feet.
Scope: clean wood from under damaged area, place forms around the damaged area,
pump concrete into the damaged area.

Part G-Project Descri ption
6a. Briefly summarize the overall project. You can provide more detail in 6b. Inetp]
Repair and undercut boat ramp. The boat ramp is 90 feet long, by 16 feet wide by approximately 8" thick. It
was undercut by a storm at high tide in December of 2018. The undercut area is l6 feet long by 7 feet wide, by
approximately 8 to 12 inches high, and is located at the highest corner of the boat ramp (see photos). The repair
is to remove wood debris from under the ramp, form along the edge of the void, and pump a concrete slurry
into the void.
6b. Describe the purpose of the project and why you want or need to perform it. rnetpl
The purpose of project is to repair a normal repair of an existing boat ramp, to return it to its original condition
before the storm damage. The boat ramp is an essential public facility, in active use by the general public.

Hi Matt
Just want to check in with you. I reviewed the JARPA and it mentions (on page 6) that 38 linear feet of rock bulkhead
will be repaired. Allthe other information submitted indicates concrete will be poured within a 7-foot-wide by 16-foot-
long area of an existing boat ramp. lf no bulkhead repairs are proposed, please reply to this email stating that the
proposal is limited to the 7-foot x 16-foot area of concrete at the existing ramp.
1
lf a bulkhead repair is proposed, please send drawings and details about what is proposed
I am hoping to make a site visit on Tuesday (31L9), so if at all possible, please let me know by Monday
Thanks,
Donna

Restore 16'x 10'existing quarry rock revetment using 13 tons of 3 man and 7 tons of 2" to 4" quarry rock.. Fill voids
under concrete boat launch with up to I yards of 7 sack sand/pea gravel flowable concrete mix.
Wet concrete will be kept out of the marine environment by using fast curing additives which will result in a 4 hour
cure time; and pouring on an outgoing tide, on a day in which the tide will reach at least a 0.5 low. The pour will
begin when the tide reaches 3 feet, wtrich will leave approximately 6 hours before it reaches 3 feet again. This plan
will allow for a safety margin of approximalely 7 vertical feet, and 60 linear feet.
No vehicles or machinery will be driven on the tidelands. Work will occur from the parking lot, or from the boat
ramp.

Part G-Project Descri ption
6a. Briefly summarize the overall project. You can provide more detail in 6b. tnetpl
Repair an existing boat ramp that has been undercut, and maintain l6 linear feet of existing quany rock
revetment. The boat ramp is 90 feet long, by l6 feet wide by approximately 8" thick. It was undercut by a
storm at high tide in December of 201 8. The undercut area is l6 feet long by 7 feet wide, by approximately 8
to l2 inches high, and is located at the highest corner of the boat ramp (see photos). The revetment
maintenance is 16 linear feet long, by l0 feet wide.
6b. Describe the purpose of the prqect and why you want or need to perform it. tnerol
The purpose of project is to repair an existing boat ramp and quarry rock revetment in order to return it to its
original condition before the storm damage. The boat ramp is an essential public facility, in active use by the
general public.

Part 6-Project Description
6a. Briefly summarize the overall project. You can provide more detail in 6b. ttretot
Repair an existing boat ramp that has been undercut, and maintain 16 linear feet of existing quarry rock
revetment. The boat ramp is 90 feet long, by l6 feet wide by approximately 8" thick. It was undercut by a
storm at high tide in December of 201 8. The undercut area is l6 feet long by 7 feet wide, by approximately 8
to 12 inches high, and is located at the highest corner of the boat ramp (see photos). The revetment
maintenance is l6 linear feet long, by l0 feet wide.
6b. Describe the purpose of the project and why you want or need to perform it. hetpl
The purpose of project is to repair an existing boat ramp and quarry rock revetment in order to return it to its
original condition before the storm damage. The boat ramp is an essential public facility, in active use by the
general public.
