SUBJECT: Request to reappoint David Wilkinson to serve an additional 4-
year term on the Conservation Futures Citizen Oversight
Committee.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Public Health requests that the County Commissioners reappoint David Wilkinson to the Conservation
Futures Citizen Oversight(CF)Committee to serve an additional 4-year term.
ANALYSIS/STRATEGIC GOALS/PRO'S and CON'S:
A vacancy on the CF Committee was advertised in the The Leader on April 24th, 2019. Mr. Wilkinson
responded to the ad prior to the May 8th deadline to represent District 1.No other applications for the seat
were received during the application period.Mr.Wilkinson has served very capably on the Committee,
including as Vice Chair and Chair,and Public Health is grateful that he would like to continue his
participation in the county's open space program.
FISCAL IMPACT/COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
There is no fiscal impact to the county's General Fund for reappointing Mr. Wilkinson to an additional
term on the CF Committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
Public Health requests that the County Commissioners reappoint David Wilkinson to the Conservation
Futures Citizen Oversight(CF)Committee to serve an additional 4-year term.
