Meeting to order in the presence of Port Townsend Councilmember Michelle Sandoval and
Public Health Department Director Vicki Kirkpatrick, Amanda Funaro, Terry Smith, Whitney
Friddle, Sarah Rogers, Roy Walker, Kathy Morgan, Lori Fleming, Frank Hoffman, David
Rymph, Aislinn Palmer, Jeff Monroe, Barbara Morey, Kay Kassinger, Brian Nash, Peggy
Webster and Facilitator, Lizanne Coker.
Not in attendance: Fred Kimball & Joe Nole
Task Force Member Webster introduced herself to the group.
REVIEW and APPROVE MINUTES: Member Friddle moved to approve the Special Meeting
Minutes of June 26, 2019. Member Hoffman seconded the motion. The motion carried.
MEETING SCHEDULE: Member Morey moved to set the future meetings of the Task Force
so they could be defined as "Regular" rather than "Special" meetings. He moved to have the
meetings place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month through the end of the year, to be
held at the Cotton Building in Port Townsend. Member Smith seconded the motion. After a brief
discussion, Member Sullivan called for a vote on the motion, the motion carried.
PRESENTATION: Dove House by Member Rogers. Presentation covered the mission of Dove
House as a crisis center for victims of domestic violence. Member Rogers discussed the scope of
services offered, the outreach in the county and how the housing at Dove House is used.
Followed by Q & A.
DISCUSSION OF REPORTS BY MEMBERS: Reports were given and Q & A followed.
MEETING SCHEDULE - Continued: Member Sullivan noted that the motion regarding the
Meeting Schedule needed to be amended to include a meeting start time of 2:00 p.m. Member
Hoffman moved to approve the amended schedule. Member Kassinger seconded the motion. The
motion carried.
HOMELESS PLAN REVIEW OF FORMAT: Facilitator Coker questioned the members
about two plans and asked for their thoughts.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: No comments were received.
FUTURE MEETINGS and AGENDA ITEMS: Facilitator Coker promised to send a draft
outline to the Members on Friday, July 12, 2019. The next meeting will be held on July 24, 2019
at 2:00 p.m. at the Cotton Building in Port Townsend.
ADJOURNMENT: Member Funaro moved to adjourn the meeting at 4:17 p.m. Member Friddle
seconded the motion. The motion carried.
