I did point Ken to the Corps of Engineers, who probably can provide a list of all aquaculture activities in the area that have received coverage under Nationwide Permit #48. Also, I've accepted a position as Ecology's Wetland Policy Lead. As a result, I'm no longer handling permitting and technical assistance issues at the project level. However, I am retaining a few of my "in -process" projects if it seems appropriate. I'm not sure whether this one will fall into that category. My former position hasn't been filled yet (it will probably take a few months) but Rebecca Rothwell (cc'd herein) will be Ecology's wetland and shoreline specialist for Jefferson County. I'll be coordinating with Rebecca on this review, regardless of who takes the "lead" f6r Ecology. puck 01¢az, PWS Wetlands Policy Lead Washington Department of Ecology Shorelands and Environmental Assistance Program (360) 407-6924 (360) 810-0024 - cell rmra46L@ecy.wa.gov From: Philip Hunsucker <PHunsucker@co.jefferson.wa.us> Sent: Monday, September 30, 2019 11:11 AM To: Mraz, Richard A. They have asked us whether Jefferson County has a list of aquaculture projects within 5 miles of the site—finfish and shellfish. I don't think the County has such a list, since many of the locations would not require a County permit. So, I was wondering if Ecology has a list of Jefferson County aquaculture projects. If so, could you send it to me? Thanks for your help. Philip •"6 '' Philip C.
