SUBJECT: Status Briefing on Comprehensive Plan Annual Amendment Cycle
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
This briefing will update the Board on the project status and scheduling of the 2019 Jefferson
County Comprehensive Plan Annual Amendment Cycle. The 2019 Final Docket contains one
site-specific amendment proposal, MLA19-00013 Andrew and Sarah Wilke proposal to re-
zone a 10-acre RR1:10 parcel to RR1:5 for the purpose of subdivision. The Jefferson County
Planning Commission is anticipated to provide their recommendations to the Board pursuant
to 18.45.080(1)(d), by October 21, 2019.
ANALYSIS:
This status brief will assist the Board and public with navigating the annual Comprehensive
Plan amendment process as it moves from Planning Commission to Board of County
Commissioners, and will provide a discussion about scheduling as we enter a busy time of
year. No action by the Board is required.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact related to the presentation or action.
RECOMMENDATION:
Receive a briefing from DCD on the status of the 2019 Comprehensive Plan Annual
Amendment Cycle.
