CALL TO ORDER: Jefferson County Commissioner David Sullivan called the Special
Meeting to order at 2:01 p.m. in the presence of Port Townsend Council Member Michelle
Sandoval, Amanda Funaro, Sarah Rogers, Terry Smith, Roy Walker, Kathy Morgan, Lori
Fleming, Frank Hoffman, David Rymph, Whitney Friddle, Fred Kimball, Peggy Webster, Brian
Nash, Ben Casserd, Julia Cochrane and Facilitator Lizanne Coker. Also present was Public
Health Director Vicki Kirkpatrick.
REVIEW and APPROVE MINUTES: Member Funaro ask that we correct the Special
Meeting Minutes of August 16, 2019 to include public comment that occurred prior to the vote to
support OlyCAP's request for funding support. Member Sandoval noted that the meeting on
August 16, 2019 was adjourned and a new one started. Approval of the Regular Meeting Minutes
of August 14, 2019 and the Special Meeting Minutes of August 16, 2019 were tabled until the
next meeting.
5 YEAR PLAN REVIEW: Comments and revisions were made to Objective #3.
3:15 pm SCHEDULED BREAK
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Comment was made concerning the shelter and the support
that people need.
FUTURE MEETINGS and AGENDA ITEMS: The next regular meeting will be held on
September 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cotton Building in Port Townsend. Editing of the 5 Year
Plan was assigned to several members.
ADJOURNMENT: Member Sullivan adjourned the meeting at 4:10 p.m.
