This is to support the Tarboo Ridge Coalition's efforts to stop Joe D'Amico' from developing his proposed shooting range near Tarboo Lake.
It seems that Joe D'Amico's efforts to bully the Planning Commission through threatened lawsuits was successful. There is nothing about
the approval that can be defended, including threats to property values, area residents' health and safety, and potential environmental
damage.
Adopting ordinances that don't follow state law is very questionable. Take this opportunity to thoughtfully consider the affects of placing
commercial shooting facilities in residential areas. Also, I believe we don't need to support businesses that promote guns.
Please be deliberate in your decision-making process and follow state regulations in this important issue. Thanks. Nancy Johnson
