Aer having aended the meeng at Chimacum High School on November 05, 2019, I would like to express my concern that the Jefferson County issue with the shoong range ordinances will not be resolved without a reset. In my opinion, the goals and the demands of the Tarboo Ridge Coalion (TRC) remain at odds with the majority of County residents. The requirements that have been suggested by the TRC would eventually prove a financial burden sufficient to bankrupt the future development or existence of any and all shoong ranges within Jefferson County. To date, the financial burden for resoluon of this dilemma has been on the County taxpayer at large. Whatever ordinances will be adopted to Titles 8 and 18, the future will no doubt see addional legal acon, any or all of which may persist in the courts for years. These costs will also be at the property taxpayer ’s expense. It would best serve the residents of Jefferson County to dra legislaon that represents the unique character and individual needs of Jefferson County and not a copy cat of the more densely populated Kitsap County ordinances. To this end, please take courage and make the right decision for Jefferson County. Respecully Submied, Barbara M.
