STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
HEARING NOTICE re: 2020-2021 Jefferson County Biennial Budget; Hearing Scheduled for Monday,
December 2, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Chambers
ANALYSIS:
The hearing notice will be advertised on November 20 and 27, 2019 in The Leader. The public hearing is
scheduled for December 2, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. The Board will hear public testimony regarding all funds at
that time. Written testimony on the proposed 2020-2021 biennial budget will be accepted until the close of
the public hearing.

RECOMMENDATION:
Approve HEARING NOTICE re: 2020-2021 Jefferson County Biennial Budget; Hearing Scheduled for

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing is scheduled by the Jefferson County
Board of Commissioners for MONDAY,December 2, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the Commissioners'
Chambers, Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368 to
consider the adoption of the 2020-2021 biennial budget including the General Fund, Public
Works, Special Funds, and the Jefferson County Road Construction Program. The proposed
2020-2021 biennial budget is available for viewing on the County website at
www.co.jefferson.wa.us. Written public comments will also be accepted any time up through the
close of the public hearing, addressed to the BoCC at P.O. Box 1220, Port Townsend, WA 98368
or by email at jeffbocc@co.jefferson.wa.us.
