Purpose of meeting:
Introductions, Coalition structure, Strategic Plan Workgroups, Planning for the future

3:30 Lindsay Introductions
Called meeting to order, all attendees introduced themselves (name,
profession, what brought them here today, goal for the community)
Approved agenda with change in order, Lo needs to leave early so we
will discuss the coalition’s presence at the Blue Heron Middle School
Family Game Night first.
3:45 Lo Updates from Lo-
PT High School Interact Club is sponsoring a Family Game Night at Blue
Heron Middle School on March 8th from 5-7pm. Lo shared the format
for the event, and passed around a chaperone sign up form. Coalition
members interested in being present at the event signed up, and will
collaborate on bringing prevention materials and brochures to the
game night to have a presence there and support the event.
3:50 Lindsay Coalition structure/ group agreements-
Group agreement creation (pair/share)- Everyone broke off into pairs
to share two things that are important to them to feel included and
motivated within a working coalition meeting. While reporting out to
the larger group, Lindsay took notes to draft a list of group
agreements which will be sent out to adjust as needed and build
consensus around.
Discussion on when to elect an executive committee resulted in
waiting until coalition members could reflect on the commitment and
review more materials, we will follow up at the next meeting.
4:05 Lindsay Strategic Plan/Developing Workgroups
Lindsay shared the history of the CPWI coalition structure, and how
the DBHR timeline fits into our action items for the next few months.
After discussion on how to proceed in drafting the Strategic Plan we
moved forward with the plan for Lindsay to send out resources
including the list of potential workgroups, the CPWI Coalition Guide,
and the PT School District Data Book via email, where folks can reach
out to me to identify which section/workgroup they would be
interested in participating in.
4:25 Lindsay Future meeting times/details
The coalition discussed ideal future meeting times and Lindsay will
send out a doodle poll to assess coalition member availability.
