CALL TO ORDER: Jefferson County Commissioner David Sullivan called the Regular
Meeting to order in the presence of Fred Kimball, Sarah Rogers, Whitney Friddle, Joe Nole,
Frank Hoffman, Kay Kassinger, Lori Fleming, Barbara Morey, Julia Cochrane (Alternate),
Peggy Webster, Kathy Morgan, Brian Nash, Amanda Funaro, Terry Smith and Jeff Monroe.
Also present was Public Health Director Vicki Kirkpatrick and Facilitator Lizanne Coker.
REVIEW and APPROVAL of MINUTES: Member Sullivan noted that the Regular Meeting
Minutes of October 9, 2019 need to be approved. Member Kassinger moved to approve the
minutes as presented. Member Nole seconded the motion. The motion carried.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL DESIGN: The group discussed the Request for Proposals (RFP)
& process.
RECESS: The meeting was recessed at 3:10 p.m. for a five-minute break.
FUNDING ALLOCATION SCHEDULE FOR 2020: Timeline for the RFP process was
discussed. There will be an RFP for 2019 and another RFP for 2020.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Comments were made concerning the positive efforts of the
Task Force.
FUTURE MEETINGS and AGENDA ITEMS: The next regular meeting will be held on
November 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cotton Building in Port Townsend. Member Friddle made
a motion to cancel the second November meeting due to the holiday. Member Funaro seconded
the motion. The motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT: Member Sullivan adjourned the meeting at 4:14 p.m.
