Chairman Dave Garing called the meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. in the presence of Vice -Chairman Henry
Krist and Member Michael Smith.
ASSESSMENT CORRECTION AND PETITION WITHDRAWALS
Vice -Chairman Krist moved to accept the following assessment correction and petition withdrawls.

Board began post hearing deliberations at 10:18 a.m. At the conclusion of the deliberations the Board
resumed the regular meeting at 12:00 p.m. and the following actions were taken.

After reviewing all the information submitted, the Board concurred that the appellant did not present
clear, cogent, and convincing evidence necessary to overcome the presumptive correctness of the
Assessor.
Vice -Chairman Krist moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $377,830 ($217,244 for the land
and $160,586 for improvements). Member Smith seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous
vote.

The Board of Equalization held a hearing on March 22, 2019.
After reviewing all the information submitted, the Board concurred that the appellant did not present
clear, cogent, and convincing evidence necessary to overcome the presumptive correctness of the
Assessor.

After reviewing all the information submitted, the Board concurred that the appellant did not present
clear, cogent, and convincing evidence necessary to overcome the presumptive correctness of the
Assessor.

Smith seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.

The Board of Equalization held a hearing on March 22, 2019.
After the hearing, but prior to determinations, the Assessor's representative and the appellant agreed to
a lower value and provided a recommendation to the Board of Equalization for consideration.
After consideration of all evidence, testimony and the Assessor's Representative's recommendation,
Member Smith moved to overrule the Assessor's original determination of $321,155 ($171,360 for
the land and $149,795 for the improvements) and reduce the true and fair market value to $301,155
($171,360 for the land and $129,795 for the improvements). Vice -Chairman Krist seconded the
motion which carried by a unanimous vote.

The Board of Equalization held a hearing on March 22, 2019.
At the hearing, the Assessor's representative noted that a portion of the deck of the appellant's house
located on the adjacent parcel #977 400 018 encroaches on the subject lot. He also testified that the
two 60 foot water frontage lots (120 total feet of waterfront) are being used for one house. Based on
those two factors, he recommended a reduction on the 20 feet in excess of 100 feet per the Assessor's
standard policy and reduce the lot's value.

After consideration of all testimony, evidence and the Assessor's Representative's recommendation,
Member Smith moved to overrule the Assessor's original determination of $155,610 and finds that a
preponderance of the evidence supports a true and fair market value of $141,205. Vice -Chairman Krist
seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
ADJOURNMENT
Vice -Chairman Krist moved to adjourn the meeting at 12:05 p.m. Member Smith seconded the motion
which carried by a unanimous vote.
