ASSESSMENT CORRECTIONS: Member Gillette moved to accept the following assessment corrections. Vice -Chairman Krist seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Vice -Chairman Krist moved to overrule the Assessor's original determination of $450,520 ($178,737 for the land and $271,783 for the improvements) and finds that a preponderance of the evidence supports a true and fair market value of $415,901($144,118 for the land and $271,783 for the improvements). Member Gillette seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Additional information was requested and the hearing was continued on June 12, 2019. At the hearing, the Assessor's Representative recommended to reduce the value of improvements by $2,545 to reflect that a structure located on the property is used as a woodshed not a carport as previously valued. After consideration of all testimony, evidence and the Assessor's Representative's recommendation, Vice -Chairman Krist moved to overrule the Assessor's original determination of $970,913 ($424,888 for the land and $546,025 for the improvements) and finds that a preponderance of the evidence supports a true and fair market value of $968,368 ($424,88 for the land and $543,480 for the improvements). Member Gillette seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Additional information was requested and the hearing was continued on June 12, 2019. At the hearing, the Assessor's Representative testified that the home no longer has a deck and recommended a reduction to the improvement value in the amount of $4,315. After consideration of all testimony, evidence and the Assessor's Representative's recommendation, Vice -Chairman Krist moved to overrule the Assessor's original determination of $229,107 ($133,965 for the land and $95,142 for the improvements) and finds that a preponderance of the evidence supports a true and fair market value of $224,792 ($133,965 for the land and $90,827 for the improvements). Based on the additional information provided, the Assessor's Representatives recommended a reduction in value. After consideration of all testimony, evidence and the Assessor's Representative's recommendation, Member Gillette moved to overrule the Assessor's original determination of $4,483,240 ($501,629 for the land and $3,981,611 for the improvements) and finds that a preponderance of the evidence supports a true and fair market value of $3,156,036 ($501,629 for the land and $2,654,407 for the improvements). Vice -Chairman Krist seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
