Regular Business • Deliberations regarding Title 8 JCC (Health and Safety) & Title 18 JCC (Unified Development Code) related to commercial shooting facilities in unincorporated Jefferson County Motions Motion # Motion 1st 2nd Yay Nay Abstain 1 Move to dismiss indoor-only option. Coker Hull 1 7 0 2 Move that the Planning Commission adopts, as the recommendation of the Jefferson County Planning Commission, accept the Smith/Koan recommendations under the first portion of Title 18 as amended. Koan Coker 8 0 0 5 Motion is that on page 24 of 25 (of the Smith/Koan Title 18 recommendations) (5)(d)ii. is revised to say “An evaluation of all proposed uses to ensure consistency…” Coker Smith 8 0 0 6 Move that we approve this (Planning Commission recommendations for Titles 8 and 18) and send it off. Smith Llewellyn 7 0 1 Follow-Up Items • The Prosecuting Attorney’s Office will present the Planning Commission’s suggested findings and conclusions on 11-25-19. • The Critical Areas Task Force has completed their work and it will be presented at the 12-04-19 Planning Commission meeting.
