Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: Public Works has completed checking the bids for the above referenced project, and recommends award of the contract to Nordland Construction NW, Inc. for their bid amount of $498,513.95. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The bid amount is $498,513.95. Construction of road improvements will be funded at 90% by the County Road Administration Board - Rural Arterial Program, and 10% by the County Arterial Preservation Program funds. $65,000 in Public Infrastructure Funds (PIF) funding will be used for sidewalk improvements. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize the Award of Contract to Nordland Construction NW, Inc., and return the original to Public Works for further processing.
