This procurement was done through KCDA (King County Director's Association). Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: This Change order is necessary to compensate the Contractor for providing an early delivery date of the Modular Unit. The delivery on Nov 11, 2019, a County Holiday, provided for uninterrupted access for the installation of the 14' x 56' modular unit. This avoided conflict between Transfer Station operations and the customers, thereby increasing safety and avoiding back-ups at the tipping floor. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: This project is funded with local funds. The contract change is $3,179.75 tax inclusive, with no change to the contract period. Recommendation: We recommend that this Contract Change Order be signed by the Board. Please sign the three originals, retaining one for your records, and return two originals to Public Works.
