Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
Special Meeting — Friday, January 24, 2020, 12:00 p.m.
Jefferson County Courthouse, First Floor Conference Room
1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Greg Brotherton called the meeting to order in the presence of
Commissioner David Sullivan and Commissioner Kate Dean. The following Elected County Officials
and County staff were also present: Treasurer Stacie Prada, Assessor Jeff Chapman, Clerk Ruth Gordon,
Prosecutor James Kennedy, WSU Extension Director Cliff Moore, Superior Court Clerk Sophie
Nordstrom and Sheriff Joe Nole.
DISCUSSION with County Elected Officials and Department Directors re: County/State
Relations and Legislation of the 2020 Legislative Session: Those in attendance reviewed various bills
that may have an impact on Jefferson County.
NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Chair Brotherton stated the meeting was adjourned at
1:10 p.m.
