STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Public Health requests that the County Commissioners reappoint Scott Brinton to the Conservation Futures Citizen Oversight(CF)Committee to serve an additional 4-year term. ANALYSIS/STRATEGIC GOALS/PRO'S and CON'S: Three open interest seat vacancies on the CF Committee were advertised in The Leader on December 24th, 2019. Mr.Brinton responded to the ad prior to the January 22nd,2020 deadline along with a total of two other candidates. Mr. Brinton has been a very dedicated member of the Committee, and Public Health is grateful for his service to the program. FISCAL IMPACT/COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: There is no fiscal impact to the county's General Fund for reappointing Mr. Brinton to an additional term on the CF Committee. RECOMMENDATION: Public Health requests that the County Commissioners reappoint Scott Brinton to the Conservation Futures Citizen Oversight(CF)Committee to serve an additional 4-year term.
