Mr. Parks has an existing single-family residence on this site that will be served by this new septic system. Mr. Parks' property is mapped as an intermediate shoreline slope and seismic hazard. I have reviewed Mr. Parks' waiver request, available map and data, and completed the attached geohazard checklist. Mr. Parks will implement applicable best management practices during installation. The septic will be sited on an area that has approximately a 9% slope. Based on our available data, Mr. Parks' site, proposed development, and analysis from the geohazard checklist I find that the standards for a geotechnical report waiver, under Jefferson County Code 18.22.370, have been satisfied.
