Library District Board of Trustees; Five (5) Year Term to Expire March
2025; Vice-Chair, Ellen Hargis
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD REAPPOINTMENT re: Jefferson County Rural Library District Board of Trustees;
Five (5) Year Term to Expire March 2025; Vice-Chair, Ellen Hargis
ANALYSIS:
A letter nominating Ellen Hargis was received from Tamara Meredith, Jefferson County Library Director,
requesting she be reappointed to the Jefferson County Rural Library District Advisory Board. The Board met
at their regular meeting on April 15th and considered applicants for the open position. The Trustees would like
to request that Ellen Hargis' term be renewed on the board for another five-year term. Ellen has completed one
full term, from April 2015 —March 2020, and is eligible for another term as per RCW 27.12.190.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve ADVISORY BOARD REAPPOINTMENT re: Jefferson County Rural Library District Board of
Trustees; Five (5) Year Term to Expire March 2025; Vice-Chair, Ellen Hargis
