The interagency agreement with the Department of Ecology continues County efforts to eliminate the risk associated with hazardous wastes. The agreement's purpose is to provide specialists who provide no -cost technical assistance and educational outreach to small businesses in an effort to prevent pollution of waters of the state. FISCAL IMPACT/COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: No change in funding. C2000017 BETWEEN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY AND JEFFERSON COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL PUBLIC HEALTH PURPOSE: To amend the Agreement between the state of Washington, Department of Ecology, hereinafter referred to as "ECOLOGY," and Jefferson County Environmental Public Health, hereinafter referred to as "CONTRACTOR." WHEREAS, the CONTRACTOR has experienced personnel changes and a Fall 2019 coordination and execution of a business sector workshop provided a better estimation of the workload required to successfully conduct such workshop, this contract is being amended to update personnel and adjust the number of workshops to be conducted during the remaining contract term.
