FISCAL IMPACT: The County will receive an additional $132,517 in grant funding for COVID-19 response service activities. The grant covers both Jefferson and Clallam Counties. While the original CDBG Public Services Grant has Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP) as the subrecipient to provide community services, this amendment for the $132,517 Economic Opportunity Grant for COVID-19 will be targeted for microenterprise grants and loans to low income very small business owners. $49,958 will be through Economic Development Council Team Jefferson; and $82,559 will be through Clallam Economic Development Council, as subrecipients. So, you don't need to return the budget and scope with the signed amendment unless you already have them ready at this time.
