HomeMy WebLinkAboutJeffCo Business ReOpening Survey Report 052120Jefferson Countv COVID-19 Business Re-Openina Survev Resort The Port Townsend Main Street Program, the Chamber of Jefferson County, and Team Jefferson/EDC collaborated on sending a survey to their constituents to ask them to weigh in on reopening businesses in Jefferson County, what resources they need, and their concerns. The survey was completed by 283 people from Wednesday, May 13th through Friday May 15, 2020. The survey was sent to the Port Townsend Main Street Business list, and the Chamber of Jefferson County and EDC Team Jefferson distribution lists. ANSWER CHOICES Business sectors take staff training to know state requirements by sector: restaurants, retail, lodging, hair salons. (The Chamber is working on a plan for training with a local college) Staff and customers wear masks (if customers do not have a mask, a mask will be provided by the business) Hand sanitizer at every business inside entrance. Taking staff temperatures before each shift. Heighten sanitation measures at businesses. Frequently reviewed and updated checklists based on Governor's guidelines.
