Information gathered for the septic permit at the subject property are applicable; as well as, new information contained in this waiver. 4 0014 FINDING: OTHER RELEVANT A geotechnical overview was conducted by G.W. Thorsen, / / 04/25/97 WLM INFO Consulting Geologist; two letters of record dated March 27, 1997 and April 8, 1997 were submitted as part of this application. 5 0155 GEO HAZARD CUSTOM A setback (buffer) of 30 feet shall be permanently maintained / / 04/25/97 WLM CONDITION from the top or edge of the landslide hazard area. All buffers shall be measured perpendicularly from the top of the landslide hazard area. 6 0105 CUSTOM CONDITION Plantings of vegetation should help maintain stabilization of / / 04/25/97 WLM the steep slope. 7 0135 CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES All construction activities, including the storage and / / 04/25/97 WLM preparation of materials, shall not encroach upon the designated steep slopes or its associated buffer. 8 0140 NATIVE PLANTS-CONIFERS Among the native conifer species which may be used are: grand / / 04/25/97 WLM fir (Aibes grandis), sitka spruce (Picea sitchensis), shore pine (Pinus contorta), Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii), western redcedar (Thuja plicata), or western hemlock (Tsuga heterophylla). 9 0145 NATIVE PLANTS-BROAD LEAF Among the native tree species which may be used are: vine / / 04/25/97 WLM maple (Acer circinatum) big-leaf maple (Acer macrophyllum), red alder (Alnus rubra), Pacific madrone (Arbutus menziesii), black cottonwood (Populus trichocarpa), bitter cherry (Prunus emarginata), or cascara (Rhamnus purshiana). The storm water plan shall address how water will be directed away from the steep slope. Recommendations contained ained in the geotech report may be used for design of the storm water plan. Once the subject permit has been issued, the applicant shall fully implement the provisions of the submitted "Storm water plan", and contact the Jefferson County Permit Center to arrange a schedule of inspection for plan compliance. A Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued until the Permit Center verifies plan compliance.
