M. O'Meara, B. G. Brown, Ron Richards, Dick Lotzgesell, Harold Buck and Joe Steve. 1 -Also present: 'Gael Stuart, Craig Miller, David Abeel, Herb Kuzniczci, Elaine Collins, Jean Hordyk, Lenn Watts, Don Morrison, Dr. Fisher, Cathy Fisher, Henry Hamm, Randy Durant, and Darla Sanders. The meeting was called to order at 9:35 A.M. by Chairman O'Meara. A Motion was made by Mr. Brown for the minutes to be approved as read, seconded by Lotzgesell and carried. Correspondence: A letter from Dr. Beare of the State was read concerning the dissolution. • A letter from Bremerton-Kitsap Health District was read by Dr. Fisher concerning Dr. Risher staying on through January 31st if needed. CETA: Cathy Fisher gave the Board an update on the CETA positions. She is to notify CETA on the Aides allocation of one to Jefferson and one to Port Angeles. Henry reported that it is still not known about the position for Environmental Health. Home Health: Cathy gave a discription of Home Health. David Abeel then presented the Grant proposal. Mr. Buck questioned a portion concerning the costs of the Home Health Budget. After considerable discussion, a motion was made by :`r. Buck that Clallaa County be the lead agency with a contract with Jefferson County. Lotzgesell seconded the motion and it carried with Mr. Brown opposing. Mr. Buck made a proposal for the Distric= staying together but having each county making their own ordinances. Mr. Miller explained that there was a conflict on rules concerning who could make ordinances for a• di;trict. s Henry Hater reported on the Environmental Health programs and the progress of the lab. Dr. Fisher asked that if the Board were meeting in January that she would like to request that Jeanne Motan be the Seauim representative. It was decided that the dissolution would be January 1st so no representative would be needed. Dissolution: Mr. Brown' made a motion that Resolution #13 be approved with an _; addition that the assets be distributed proportionly to each county. after all incoming expenses are paid. The motion was seconded by Mr. Richards. Motion carried with Mr. Buck opposing. Dr. Fisher,asked the Board when the contract with Mr. Kuzniczci is over. it was decided that Herb was to go through the transition as needed. District Health Officer APPROVED: k (...i.12,;;* . , Chaff f th Board Date 4 dks • i , H 1 SININNINOMONNESIMIN S OLYMPIC HEALTH DISTRICT Board of Health - Resolution # f 3 , 1977 WHEREAS, the Olympic Health District was established by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson and Clallam Counties, and, WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Clallam and Jefferson Counties indicated that they will dissolve the Olympic Health District by resolution effective January 1, 1978, NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the* OlympicHealth - District, in accordance with the resolutions of the Boards of County Commissioners of Clallam and Jefferson Counties, will be dissolved effective January 1, 1978.
