DRAFT MINUTES
The April 15, 2020 meeting of the Empowered Teens Coalition was held at the Zoom meeting 3:30 – 4:15
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING: Report on recent and upcoming activities as impacted by COVID-19; Decisions: re strategic plan update; action plan for next FY; Review: PAX Good Behavior Game Facilitators for this meeting: Denise Banker In attendance: Shayann Hoffer-Pauley, Al Scalf, Richard Davies, Lindsay Scalf, Karen Obermeyer, Tom, Ciela Meyer, Melinda Miller, Mel Melmed, Chris HoffmanHill
Time/Facilitator Activity 3:30 Denise Called meeting to order. 3:42 Denise Each person updated the group on how their agency’s activities have changed due to COVID-19. 3:43 Denise Report: ~Meeting with Rick Thompson and meeting with Kristina Mayer re: contract specifics, what to fund, what funding is available, discussion of PAX Good Behavior Game (GBG). OUTCOME: Denise will arrange a meeting at Rick’s behest with Jason Lynch and Kyle Ellis to discuss potentially implementing PAX GBG in primary and elementary school ~Next Steps: Denise will send notes to Coalition with links to PAX GBG so Coalition has the opportunity to overview the program. ~COALITION Members will respond to Denise via e-mail regarding their opinions, advice, and willingness to champion PAX GBG among their
stakeholders, friends, family members, and any School District personnel. ~One agenda item was tabled due to time running out: Social Media.

The May 20, 2019 meeting of the Empowered Teens Coalition will be held at the Via Zoom from 3:30-4:15, unless otherwise notified. ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG PREVENTION IS GOOD WORK.
