Statement of Issue: Award of Contract to Rognlins, Inc., of Aberdeen, Washington for
their bid of $109,898.25 for the above referenced project.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: Public Works has completed checking the
bids for the above referenced project, and recommends award of the contract to
Rognlins, Inc. for their bid amount of $109,898.25.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The bid amount is $109,898.25. Construction
will be funded at 100% by the Federal Highway Administration.
Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize the Award of
Contract to Rogntins, Inc., and return the original to Public Works for further
processing.

• The Call for Bids was issued by the Board of County Commissioners on July 20, 2020.
■ Due notice of the Call for Bids was given as required by law.
• Sealed bids were received and opened in public on August 10, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in the Public Works
Conference Room with a live, video -conference connection to the Commissioner's meeting.
• The Public Works Department has completed checking the bids and has investigated the qualifications
of the lowest bidder.

The Public Works Department recommends that the construction contract be awarded to the lowest responsive
bidder:
