This letter is intended to record the meeting you and I had on May 30th,.2017 at the
-thoreson residence at 510 Adelma Beach Rd, Port MAIISCrld, Washington. While at the site
1 performed a post-construction observalim orate watcrirrant tram designed and constructed
under the supervision of Accumar,The observation included the train ear, and the rail
installation as well as the upper and lower landing platforms.
My observations concluded that the platforms,rails and tram were built and installed
according to the permitted drawings.
I have also reviewed the following reports and found them to be consistent with the project
goals:
a Micro pile installation Field Report and Pile. Load Test Data by Aspect Consulting
• Pin Pile Installation Field Reports by Aspect Consulting
• Certificate(4-Calibration of the jackirm equipment by Jacking Solutions

Pin Pile Installation
We observed J Ser install 2-inch-diameter,steel, schedule 80 pipe piles at 10 locations as shown on the attached
cress-section.The piles were driven using a 140-pound Rhine pneumatic jackhammer.All piles installed today were
driven vertically and to effective refusal,advancing very altrwly(greater than 60 seconds per 1 inch of advancement)at
the end of driving.The final embedded pile depths and penetration rates are shown below,

We arrived on-site at 8:30 AM to et-save the installation at micropiles.While on-site, we met with Kith Starr,Jamie
Senske, and Adrian Tr011Splinter with J SenSke General Contractor LLC (J Senske}.
Micropito Installation
We observed J Senske install 32-mm(1.25-inch)-oursiOe-diameter, hallow,threaded Geo-01111 Injection ears at tvo
i0Cations (7N and 75)as shown on the attached cross-section.J Senske used a sacrificial 4-inch-diameter drill bit
attached to the le,ading and of the threaded hollow bar to bore a hole as each bar was placed. Both bars were embedded
to 25 ft of depth at a declination,or 20" from horizontal,Following placement et the bars,J Senske grouted the bars in
place using a neat cement grout(RA Grout by US Spec Engineered Concrete Products). The grout was pumped through
the h011e/W bar down to the drill bit where it ten filled up the annular space between the borehole and the throadbar.
Based on observations, itis our opinion that the micropilos 7N and 75 have been installed to sufficient embedment
depths, and in accordance with the spirit and intent of our geotechnlcal recommendations and the project plans and
specifications For final verification of anchor capacity, load testing for the micropics will oc n Wednesday. November
23, 2016.

We arrived en-site at10011 AM to ebeerve the load testing of inicropilas,While on-site, we met with Kim Starr and Jamie
Sneke with J Senske General Contractor LLC(J Sermke).
Micrepile Lead Testing
Beth mioropiles(7N and 7S)were pa:of-tested today under axIaltensiie Loading,to a maximum toad of 4 kips per pile,which
is four time&the design toad of 1 kip per pile (per design calculations by ADI Structurez dated December 2, 2015).
J Sanele used steel bars MOUllithi on the inclined ground surface as a stable hese perpendicular to the pile.They applied
load using a hydraulic mm-jack with a pressure gauge,calibrated along with the pump by Jacking Solutions LLC(calMration
certificate a/tad-led). Load was applied at approximately 0,5-kip increments for pile 7S,and at 1-kip increments for pile 7N,
The maximum lest lead of 4 kips was held for 10 minutes.
We used a aiVe dial gauge to measure displacement(upward movement of the pile heady The dial gauge was mounted
on an independent reference bar(not attached to Inc loading apparatus or pile), and the dial gauge stern rested on the test
plate connected to the test pile head.We measured displacement after each increase in load,and at the beginning and end
of the 10-miriade interval. We observed ne =vernalt gnawer than 0.01 inches during the testing of either pile, During the
