STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD RESIGNATION re: Board of Equalization (BOE); Chairman, Dave Garing
ANALYSIS:
Dave Garing has been a long-standing essential member of the Jefferson County Board of Equalization. His
first term on this Board began on May 5, 2008. He has served five (5) consecutive terms since and has
brought knowledge, integrity and insight to this Board. Notice was received from Mr. Garing that he is
resigning and passing the baton on to the other members of this board going forward.

RECOMMENDATION:
Review and sign Letter re: ADVISORY BOARD RESIGNATION re: Board of Equalization (BOE);
