This is an important first step. We urge you to take the practical steps necessary toward implementation of this resolution by directing the appropriate staff or Board member to create a work plan for fulfilling this resolution. As this draft resolution appears to pertain only to the Board of Health and the Public Health Department, we encourage each member of the Board take the necessary steps to adopt and implement a similar policy within the jurisdictions you represent. Thank you for your efforts in making Jefferson County a safer and more equitable place for all to live.
