I guess the waterline repair is completed. Bathrooms were reopened this
morning.

To Whom it May Concern:
Those of us who live in the neighborhoods surrounding the
Fairgrounds are increasingly concerned for the welfare of the
homeless who have been sheltering at the Fairgrounds and for
those of us who live in the vicinity. You have received many
letters commenting on this.
We recently learned that there is currently grant money from the
Wa. State Dept of Commerce to be used for just this kind of
situation. After watching tent encampments blow apart over
these last few hours and knowing that the Fairgrounds bathroom
is out of order it seems imperative that this money be used
immediately to secure a safer environment for these folks.
Please act promptly to remedy this serious public health issue
made more critical by the pandemic.
