ANALYSIS/STRATEGIC GOALS/PRO'S and COWS: There are currently three vacancies on the NPC MRC for citizen volunteers. Ms. Silver has served four terms representing Conservation/Environmental Groups and would like to be reappointed for a fifth term. The remaining two vacancies were noticed in the Peninsula Daily News on November 5, 2020. Ms. Silver has extensive knowledge and a lifetime of experience living and working in western Jefferson County. Her dedication to coast stewardship and marine education are exemplary. FISCAL IMPACT/COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS: There is no fiscal impact to the county's General Fund for this reappointment. RECOMMENDATION: Jefferson County Environmental Public Health recommends that the BoCC reappoint Jill Silver to Represent Conservation/Environmental Groups on the North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee (NPC MRC) as a Citizen Volunteer.
