STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
HEARING NOTICE re: 2020-2021 Jefferson County Biennial Budget Mid -Biennium Review and
Modification; Hearing Scheduled for Monday, December 7, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners
Chambers
ANALYSIS:
The hearing notice will be advertised on November 19 and 26, 2020 in The Peninsula Daily News. The
public hearing is scheduled for December 7, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. The Board will hear public testimony
regarding all funds at that time. Written testimony on the proposed 2020-2021 Biennial Budget Mid -
Biennium Review and Modification will be accepted until the close of the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing is scheduled by the Jefferson County
Board of Commissioners for MONDAY, December 7, 2020 at 10.30 a.m. in the Commissioners'
Chambers, Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368 to
consider mid -biennium revisions to the 2020-2021 biennial budget including the General Fund,
Public Works, Special Funds, and the Jefferson County Road Construction Program. The
proposed 2020-2021 mid -biennial budget is available for viewing on the County website at
www.co.jefferson.wa.us. Per the May 29, 2020 Jefferson County Public Health Officer Order,
the BOCC meetings will be held virtually. To view the meetings live go to
www.co.iefferson.wa.us Follow the links under "Quick Links: Videos of Meetings -Streaming
Live" or those without internet can listen by dialing Phone #: 1-646-749-3122 - enter Access
Code: 661-198-069#. Access for the hearing impaired and others can be accommodated using
Washington Relay Service at 1-800-833-6384.
In addition, written testimony is also invited beginning on November 19, 2020 and ending on
December 7, 2020 at the end of the Public Hearing, unless extended by the Board of County
Commissioners. Written public testimony may be submitted by Email to:
jefflioccgco jefferson.wa.us; or by Mail to: Jefferson County Commissioners' Office; PO Box
1220, Port Townsend, WA 98368. To provide oral testimony, dial 1-646-749-3122 and enter
access code: 661-198-069# by 10:30 a.m. so your call can be taken. Testimony must be received
by the Board of County Commissioners by the end of the hearing public comment period.
Written public comments will also be accepted any time up through the close of the public
hearing, addressed to the BoCC at P.O. Box 1220, Port Townsend, WA 98368 or by email at
jeffboccga,co jefferson.wa.us.
