Board; Three (3) Year Term to Expire November 23, 2023; School Board
Representative, Laura Cook; Shelby MacMeekin will accept the School
Representative Appointment and complete this Unexpired Term
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD RESIGNATION re: Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board; Three (3) Year
Term to Expire November 23, 2023; School Board Representative, Laura Cook; Shelby MacMeekin will
accept the School Representative Appointment and complete this Unexpired Term
ANALYSIS:
Laura relayed she has greatly enjoyed being a member of the Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board
and so appreciated the board's contributions to our community. She relayed it's time for her to step down.
Her responsibilities at the elementary school are increasing and has changes in her family.
Laura is recommending the new Special Education Direction, Shelby MacMeekin. Again, Laura relayed she
is so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of the Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Review and sign the ADVISORY BOARD RESIGNATION re: Developmental Disabilities Advisory
Board; Three (3) Year Term to Expire November 23, 2023; School Board Representative, Laura Cook;
Shelby MacMeekin will accept the School Representative Appointment and complete this Unexpired Term
