CALL TO ORDER
Chair Daryl Gillette, Vice -Chair Margaret Taylor and Member Pete Raab participated in the meeting
remotely. Chair Gillette called the meeting to order at 9:12 a.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Member Raab moved to approve the special meeting minutes for 2019 BOE Season: June 16 and 23,
2020, and for 2020 BOE Season: November 18, 2020. Vice -Chair Taylor seconded the motion which
carried by a unanimous vote.
TRAINING AND DISCUSSION
Rikki Bland, Appeals and Levies Specialist, Property Tax Division, Washington State Department of
Revenue offered New Member and Refresher Training to the Board of Equalization. She reviewed
reasons to reconvene, basic hearing and determination processes and the different types of appeals. Ms.
Bland that future training will be offered on-line in 2021.
ADJOURNMENT
Chair Gillette moved to adjourn the meeting at 12:19 p.m. Member Raab seconded the motion which
carried by a unanimous vote.
