SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT re: Solid Waste Advisory
Committee District 3 Citizen Representative
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
District 3 citizen representation on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) is
needed.
ANALYSIS:
A letter of interest for appointment was received from District resident Tim Deverin.
A local SWAC is mandated by RCW 70.95.165(3). Costs associated with SWAC activity
are identified in the 2020 Solid Waste Budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the appointment and update the membership list.
