It is ridiculous that we cannot access an updated schedule for when vaccines will beadministered beyond group 1a/b
Given the low number of doses administered to date, it is obvious that there are more doses
available than people willing to be vaccinated in group 1 a/b.
It is time to get on with the vaccination of people with high-risk-health problems. If healthworkers are opting out, it is time to move on. The counties should be free to move on to the
next group. Take some risk, this is important.
The way things are working so far it appears we are in danger of having vaccines expirationdate reached before they can be administered.
We are told on the county sites that they are waiting for the state to put out guidelines for the
next group. If we continue to wait for those guidelines it may be physically impossible to usethe existing available doses before they expire.
That would be unconscionable.
I have a 75 year old spouse with multiple high-risk-health problems. She has contacted her
doctors and Jefferson Health care. No one seems to have an answer.
It is time to make some decisions to move on. Quit waiting for the state. It is our JeffersonCounty Citizens that are at risk.
