1. Labor negotiations for open contracts with:
a. Teamsters — Central Services and Public Works
b. U FCW
2. MUNIS implementation
a. In partnership with Payroll, implement new Payroll/Human Resources
management software using the MUNIS enterprise -wide software platform
3. Recruit and Retain Employees
a. Update recruitment processes including electronic applicant submittal and
processing
b. Enhance Onboarding process
4. All -employee Diversity/Equity training initiative
Major Departmental Adjustments to COVID; also, Lasting Changes After COVID:
1. Implemented temporary County policies regarding:
a. FFCRA leave
b. Expanded sick leave usage and advancement
c. Health and Safety workplace requirements, including restricting county building
access
d. Telecommuting
e. Voluntary reduction of hours
f. Hiring freeze
2. Going forward:
a. Track employee, applicants and departmental expectations regarding hybrid
remote/on-site employee work.
