Special Meeting Minutes
December 3,2020— 10:00 a.m.
Jefferson County Commissioners Chambers

Members: Diana Smeland, Shelly Leavens, Larry McKeehan, Joe Alfano and Greg Brotherton
Staff: County Administrator Philip Morley and Executive Assistant Leslie Locke

Chair Greg Brotherton, and Members Shelly Leavens, Joe Alfano, Diana Smeland and Larry
McKeehan participated in the meeting remotely. Chair Brotherton called the meeting to order at
10:00 a.m.
Approval of Special Meeting Minutes: Member Smeland moved to approve the Special Meeting
Minutes of November 25, 2020. Member Alfano seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous
vote.
Discussion and Possible Action: Finalize 2021 Request for Proposals (RFP)Application
Packet: The Committee reviewed the request for proposals packet. Member Leavens moved to
approve the final RFP packet and application form for the 2021 lodging tax grant funding. Member
Smeland seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
Discussion and Possible Action re: Process to Streamline 2021 Grant Funding Agreements:
County Administrator Morley discussed the contract review process.
Discussion and Possible Action re: Future Meeting Schedule: The next meeting will be held on
January 20, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
Adjourn: The special meeting adjourned at 10:36 a.m.
