I have just sent the legal notice for the sign to Peninsula Daily News requesting print for Tuesday July 7,
2020. I need to arrange a time with someone who can pick up the public notice board and place at the
site. Please let me know who would like to do this and what times are best! An affidavit of public posting
will need to be notarized and sent/dropped off to our office within three days of the notice period. The
public notice/comment period will remain open for 14 days until July 21, 2020, at which point the board
can be taken down. The board must be placed prior to 8AM on July 7, 2020. Please let me know if there
are any questions. I hope everyone has a great rest of the day!

COMMENT PERIOD AND WHERE TO VIEW DOCUMENTS: The application and any studies may be reviewed at the
Jefferson County Department of Community Development. All interested persons are invited to (a) comment on the
application; (b) receive notice of and participate in any hearings; and (c) receive a copy of the decision by submitting such
written comment(s)/request(s) to the Jefferson County Department of Community Development, Development Review
Division, 621 Sheridan Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368, (360) 379-4450.Comments concerning this application should
be submitted to the Department by 4:30 p.m. on July 21, 2020.If the last day of the comment period falls on a weekend or
holiday, then the comment period shall be extended to the first working day after the weekend or holiday. Comments
submitted after this date may not be considered in the staff report.
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: This is a Type III permit application that is exempt from SEPA review. An open record
hearing will be scheduled and separate public notice will be provided at least 15 days prior to the hearing. A copy of the
staff report will be made available for inspection at no cost at least seven calendar days prior to such a hearing.
The final permit decision for this Type III permit application will be made by the Hearing Examiner. Decisions of the
Hearing Examiner may not be further appealed except to Superior Court.

a residential zone through a conditional use permit process if the sign is placed or installed within 150 feet of the logical outer boundary of a Local Area
of More Intense Rural Development (LAMIRD). The sign is approximately 60-feet from the logical outer boundary of the Brinnon LAMIRD. The project is
exempt from SEPA review under WAC 197-11-800(2)(c). The final decision will be made by the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner.
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: This is a Type III permit application that is exempt from SEPA review. An open record hearing will be scheduled
and separate public notice will be provided at least 15 days prior to the hearing. A copy of the staff report will be made available for inspection at no cost
at least seven calendar days prior to such a hearing.The final permit decision for this Type III permit application will be made by the Hearing Examiner.
Decisions of the Hearing Examiner may not be further appealed except to Superior Court.
COMMENT PERIOD AND WHERE TO VIEW DOCUMENTS: The application and any studies may be reviewed at the Jefferson County Department of
Community Development. All interested persons are invited to (a) comment on the application; (b) receive notice of and participate in any hearings; and
(c) receive a copy of the decision by submitting such written comment(s)/request(s) to the Jefferson County Department of Com munity Development,
Development Review Division, 621 Sheridan Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368, (360) 379-4450.Comments concerning this application should be
submitted to the Department by 4:30 p.m. on July 21, 2020. If the last day of the comment period falls on a weekend or holiday, then the comment
period shall be extended to the first working day after the weekend or holiday. Comments submitted after this date may not be considered in the staff
report.
